ACCOUNT DETAILS CONFIRMATION SERVICE

Please note that Standard Bank provides this account details confirmation service (“confirmation service”). It allows you to confirm if the account number you have supplied belongs to the intended beneficiary of your payment. While Standard Bank has taken reasonable care to display the correct information, beneficiary details may change from time to time. You use the confirmation service and make payments in your own discretion and at your own risk. Standard Bank cannot be held responsible for any errors or incorrect details displayed and/or any losses or damages you may suffer as a result of your reliance on the confirmation service.

HOW IT WORKS

Enter the exact account details (name and number) of the beneficiary you plan to pay. If you’re paying a company, you don’t need to include Pty Ltd and CC in the company name.

The beneficiary initials and surname or the company name will be displayed as a verification of account details for Standard Bank once-off payments, new Standard bank beneficiary creation and amendments to existing Standard Bank beneficiary details.

If the account details you have entered do not accurately match the account details we have on our records for that beneficiary, then you must please confirm all account details with the relevant beneficiary before you proceed with the payment. Make sure that account details are correct before you proceed with the payment or the creation of a new beneficiary or amendments to an existing beneficiary.

If you are unsure of your beneficiary details, please contact your payment beneficiary for confirmation.
